Sunday Morning Worship at 11:00am. “Verse-by-verse” expository sermons. All are welcome.
Children’s Church During the morning worship service at 11:00am. For children who are in K-6th Grade. (Kids dismissed after the Offertory and prior to the sermon during the Morning Worship Service.)
Nursery (Babies – 2yrs) & Preschool (ages 3-5yrs)
Worship Service at 2:30pm at the Providence Long Term Care Center.
WEDNESDAYS
Wednesday Fellowship Meal at 6:00pm. (during school year)
Discipleship Training (adults) (during school year) at 6:30pm.
‘Kids For Christ’ Children’s ministry for children 1st – 6th grade. Meets on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. (during school year) Various events throughout the year.
Youth Ministry
For teens who are currently in grades 7th – 12th. Meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm. (during school year) Various events throughout the year

Provided for Babies-Pre-K at 6:30pm (during school year)
Choir Practice
On Wednesdays at 7:30pm. (during school year)

Tuesday Ladies Bible Study On Tuesdays at 10:00am and repeated at 7:00pm. (as scheduled)
Monthly Men’s Breakfast – 2nd Saturday each month at 9:00am (during school year)
Bell Choir Practice
On Saturdays at 10:00pm (during school year)
“Good News Room” Church Library filled with lots of books, resources and videos for every age. Library is always open.
Fellowships
Potlucks, cookouts, special dinners, breakfasts, etc. throughout the year.

Annual National Day of Prayer Lunch
1st Thursday in May at 12:00pm in a local restaurant.
“Chapel of the Sea” worship service
Aboard the M/V Lu-Lu Belle. June through August. 8:00-9:00am. Boarding 7:45am at the Tour Dock near the hotel. Free. All are welcome. (Sponsored by First Baptist Church)
Baptist Summer Camps
LaVerne Griffin Camp in Wasilla, in June for youth, and kids.
Annual church picnic in the park
4th of July weekend.
Annual Ladies’ Christmas Tea at 7:00pm. 1st Wednesday in December at the Valdez Civic Center. All ladies 10 years and older are invited. Free.
Annual VBS (Vacation Bible School)
Occurs each year in June. 9:00am-12:00pm. Free. For children who have completed K-6th Grade – all are welcome. Online pre-registering online coming soon. (The link will be posted on the FBC website.)
